The School found itself hosting the First round event at Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford, with organisation and timetabling generously provided by Mr Burkett. 2010 Season has been the most successful season to date for Chatham Grammar School Athletics. The season started with the traditional St. Olaves Relays event, a precursor and season opener for the English Schools Athletics Competition First round. The boys performed well at the event holding their own but still not able to match the [...] [...] Breaking NEWS! Francis Lammas Year 9 has won a gold medal for long jump in the South of England Championships. Fancis has also been selected by Kent Schools for the Regional Combined Championships on 26th June at Ashford, we wish him luck for this day. Well Done Francis. [...] Congratulations to the Year 7 Team for becoming Medway Champions, having won every single one of their matches. [...] The school is raffling an official FIFA Adidas ball, the official model of the World Cup 2010 worth £80. Tickets are £1 each and are available from Mr Dada (Geography) with the winning ticket drawn on Thursday 8th July 2010. Proceeds are going towards the South Africa trip in October 2010. [...] |
