120 students in Year 12 enjoyed a very useful trip to the HE Fair run by UCAS at Canterbury. Kent University hosted this event and there were over 120 stalls with representatives from all the universities in England and several from Wales and Scotland. On the 6th of March a group of Year nine students took a trip to London to find out something new and attend the GCSE Science Live! conference. Hundreds of students from schools all over the country attended the conference to listen to and see the experiments of top scientists such as Ben Goldacre. He [...] [...]

On Friday 13th February, 53 pupils and 6 teachers from CGSB left the school at 6.00pm to start the long 20 hour coach journey to the ski resort of Davos, Switzerland. On the 10th February 2009, 18 students and 2 teachers embarked on a 10 day trip of a lifetime to South Africa. We travelled from Heathrow to Johannesburg on an 11 hour flight.
