Another huge success for the school, even though the team was down three competitors. However after a Winston Churchillesque speech, the boys went out and outperformed themselves, allowing us to go into the final two events, the Year 9 and the Year 10/11 Relays 1 point ahead of the Maths school. The Year 7 cricket team has begun the year very strongly, with one win and one narrow defeat. Attendance to training has been good and the enthusiasm and attitude of the players has been exemplary. Despite only playing two competitive fixtures this season all pupils who attended hockey club showed tremendous dedication and performed extremely well. A particularly good performance was put in by the team in their very first game, where they earned a 1-1 draw against an extremely strong Thomas Aveling school.
