Another huge success for the school, even though the team was down three competitors. However after a Winston Churchillesque speech, the boys went out and outperformed themselves, allowing us to go into the final two events, the Year 9 and the Year 10/11 Relays 1 point ahead of the Maths school. On the 30th of May this year, a few budding thespians including myself, David Knight and Sam Coleman alongside Mrs Kushida and her actress friend, ran a drama and musical theatre workshop at St Andrew’s Church in London in order to aid the funding needed to provide our upcoming ―International Day with the entertainment of [...] [...] I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for their ongoing support throughout this demanding and important period of their sons’ education. I have been impressed by how well the Year 10 students have responded to the demands of their GCSE examinations. As well as the timetabled revision classes, many staff have delivered additional [...] [...] The Year 7 cricket team has begun the year very strongly, with one win and one narrow defeat. Attendance to training has been good and the enthusiasm and attitude of the players has been exemplary. Particularly good performances have been put in by John Moss, Tom Wooding, Luke Pamflett, and Aiden Mitchell, although this list is [...] [...] Despite only playing two competitive fixtures this season all pupils who attended hockey club showed tremendous dedication and performed extremely well. A particularly good performance was put in by the team in their very first game, where they earned a 1-1 draw against an extremely strong Thomas Aveling school.
