The year culminated in a final exhibition of work at the Brook Theatre, Chatham. Students produced work reflecting their town and identity and the work was praised by the Theatre Manager as being highly creative. He also commented upon how engaging our students were. We had an excellent turn out of over 100 people; we’ll see if we can beat that
next year. Yr 13 Students have been extremely busy completing their portfolios for final submission in June and as I write all have completed.
Since their return from study leave, yr 12’s have been working on a film project to test their ability to produce work to tight deadlines with very strict parameters. They are excited about returning next year, where they will get the opportunity to work with a range of creative practitioners. I will let you know about forthcoming dates for exhibitions in later newsletters.
Mr Zane.
